Design the perfect home office

With more of us working from home, it’s worth taking the time to set up a well considered space to allow you to do your best work in comfort. The first thing is to consider the best spot for a desk - you can often find space in a bedroom or in the corner of a living space. Even a small space can work well if it’s designed carefully.

* Consider storage - think of the all the things you will need and make sure there is sufficient storage for each. Use baskets and boxes to keep clutter at bay and allow you to tidy everything away at the end of the day.

* Find a suitable chair - you may be sitting for significant periods so make sure that your chair is comfortable. But don’t skimp on style. You don’t necessarily need a traditional office chair - think creatively and add a cushion if necessary.

* Find attractive stationery - pretty pens in pots or colourful files will brighten up the space and add style and practicality
